Luke Gibson - Lead Pastor
Luke was born in Zanesville and has lived in this area for most of his life. Luke graduated High School from Tabor Academy in Marion, MA and received his bachelor's degree at Muskingum College. From basketball to business or being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 10 years of age, Luke understands God is constantly building his life. Luke is bi-vocational and also serves the church through risk management and insurance. Together Luke and his wife Jordyn, set out to begin the work of planting Bridge City and remain grateful for all God has built.
Luke and Jordyn have 5 children; Cruz, River, Moriah, Leo, and Jude.
Wes Humble - Pastor
Wes Humble has been a pastor, University Administrator, Director of Communications for a denomination, editor of two faith related magazines and currently serves as the Executive Director of Ministry and Community Relations for a national Health Sharing ministry. He also served as Executive Director of the Community Services Division of the Licking County SherIff's office. Francene is the owner of Fran and Co. Hair Studio in Newark, Ohio. Between the two of them, they share six children and multiple grandchildren.
Joshua Humphrey - Worship Pastor
Joshua brings experience and leadership to our worship band. Joshua and his wife Kaitlin both serve together on Sundays and welcomed their first child in 2022. Joshua also oversees our media and sound teams. Joshua and Kaitlin have 2 children, Joslin and Gabriel.
Kayla Nilo - City Kids Director
Kayla Nilo has grown up in Newark her whole life and has a passion for teaching little ones in the city of Newark about the love of Christ. She strives to show the love of Christ each day as teaches first graders in Newark City Schools. She is married to Caleb Nilo who is also a Newark City Schools teacher and the Newark Lacrosse Coach. Together they have two little ones Norah and Charlie who keep them busy at all times.
